My hair dresser told me Chi is one of the oldest brand that makes flat iron.. because he explained to me how good it is.. so I thought I should maybe give it a try and see.. however, after 3 weeks.. it died out on me... and nothing like this ever happen to me.. so, I got another brand iron as a replacement for that.. I don't know how it is yet since I just received it recently.. anyway, thanks for the warranty service but I'm pretty sure that I'm not going to get another Chi ever again

This is a great flat iron. It heats quickly and maintains the heat the entire time. I have natural African American hair and it takes me about thirty minutes to straighten and 1 hour if I want it really straight. Great. I would buy a million times over. But beware do not drop it cause it broke on me the 1st time but luckily i got a warranty!

I'm happy with my CHI, I don't know that it cuts my time down any. It takes me just as long as my cheap $30.00 one used to. I am happy that when I use it in a pull down motion, it doesn't hurt like I'm pulling my hair out. It does not dry my hair out, it remains very shiny.

I'm one of those girls that curl and flattens my hair. So this 2 in 1 was perfect. Before my routine was using the regular curling iron and then finishing off with the flat iron to get that smooth framing around my face. Now I don't have to plug 2 appliances up. It's a perfect idea and tool.

Not giving me the result I was looking for August 31, 2009

This product is not recommended! At first, I thought “Wow! A 2in1! Great deal!” but actually it not really THAT good of a product. Because I have naturally straight and fine hair, I like to have my hair curl sometimes to change my look. I bought this and was going to use it when I go out for more fancy occasions. I practice with it so many times but it’s just never working the way I want! Not only it does almost like NO curls, even if I were to use hair spray and other hair products, it just NEVER holds! WORST PRODUCT I’ve tried!!
