I love this straightener soo much! I used have a walmart straightener which hardly worked.. I mean it managed to stay straight inside the house but the minute I stepped outdoors, it would go curly cause my hair is really thick, super dry and so short when it's curly but the minute I got this BRAND NEW straightener, it worked soooo well...!!! but make sure you use hair protection to avoid getting split endsÖ and donít think twice about getting this straightener! No way you will regret on getting this for sure!

I was hesitant to spend so much money on a flat iron. I have had a cheap Conair flat iron for many years now. OMG - what a difference! The flat iron heats up quickly, gets MUCH hotter than my last flat iron, and does NOT pull at all! It leaves my hair shiny, flat and beautiful. It was definitely worth what I paid for it - plus, flatironexperts.com offers a 1-year warranty on it! :)

I just got my Amika and I am amazed how straight my hair got. My mother is Indian and my Father is African American so pretty much my hair is very hard to deal with. But the Amika put my hair in its place and for the first time I did not see my hair get pulled out from a flat iron which is a plus. Also my hair looks relaxed and salon straight. It heats up quick and on top of that its super stylish.

After the switchboard fried in my CHI, and caused it to sizzle every time I turned it on, I was desperate for another flat iron! I went to the mall, and bought an Amika, and loved it! But soon thereafter, I noticed the dye from my hair stuck to the plates, which is an obvious indication that it is not made of good quality. Although I love that it has floating plates, which make it super easy to curl your hair, its not a great straightener. Two weeks shy of a year, the switch went in this one too, so every time I turned it on it sounded like its sizzling inside. I have an Avanti now, and its a million times better! The Amika is good for someone who doesnt want to spend alot of money on a flat iron, but you'll just have to buy a new one soon anyway because they're not that great!

My Solia flat iron recently broke. So I thought I would look at these popular ceramic flat irons. I looked at many of them on this website but this one had great reviews and was in my price range. I bought it and it arrived 2 days after, with free ground delivery. As soon as I got it I used it and Iíve never been more satisfied with a purchase. My hair is smooth, shiny, STRAIGHT, and beautiful. This flat iron is ABSOLUTLY AMAZING!!!
